Looks like Southpark is jumping the shark

It is rather interesting how people from all religions, even scientology, are really good at preaching religious tolerance and giving people leeway until it's at their religion's expense. I'm betting marks the start of the decline of the show, as well.

It's always interesting to see when people think southpark or Matt/Trey have gone "too far".

Mormon pornographers . . .
Comedies about cannibals . . .
"Cripple fight" . . .
Satan and Saddam as a couple . . .
"fingerbang" . . .

all of these are okay . . . but making fun of scientology is CLEARLY wrong :)

Anyone catch the season premier on Wednesday night? I thought it was well handled.

Trey Parker said the push to do the Scientology episode came from the fact that they make fun of everything, and keeping scientology "untouchable" would have gone against what South Park stands for.

Well, I've seen a couple of brief interviews with them about it, one on Letterman, and it's pretty clear there's more to it than that.

I thought the Chef being a pedephile thing was kind of icky, honestly. But, they had to take a shot at Isaac Hayes and a big one at that.
