A liberal who calls Austin, Texas and Europe his homes (a little cheesy, but give me a break, I've moved over ten times in my life). I'm currently exiled in what seems to be the only college town in America to be as conservative as the country in general if not more so. I'm telling you, if this place were any more white and homogenous...it would actually BE milk.

Do you believe it? Did you even read the article? It doesn't sound like good science to me, either.
Honestly, it's a little hard to argue with a 20-year comprehensive behavioral study. You may argue that the group was too small or not representative. But, that's what everyone argues about every study. I totally believe it.
One of my heroes, Chuck D, has a term "Sheeple." That's what most conservatives I know are. They want to be lead and don't want to think for themselves. It makes sense that the reason they are like that is fear of adversity (and diversity).
It reminds me of the macho redneck who exudes manliness and macho and beats up gay guys because he’s scared. On the outside he’s really tough and strong, but it’s a very brittle strength; nothing below the surface.
